In the venerable _History of the Jews in Cleveland_ by Lloyd P. Gartner,
Western reserve Historical Society, (1978) there is a picture with a
caption, but no text explanation.
The caption is as follows: "The Jewish Carpenters' Hall, East 135th St. and
Kinsman Road, home of Local 1750, ca. 1935." No other information is

Since Belarus was such a lumber producing area, and since there were
immigrants >from Grodno in Cleveland, is it possible that this union was
made up specifically of people with roots in that area?
