Dear All,

The International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies and the
Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Philadelphia have issued a
request for presentation proposals for the 29th IAJGS International
Conference on Jewish Genealogy to be held at the Sheraton Center City
Hotel in Philadelphia >from Sunday, August 2 through Friday, August 7,
2009.

The organizers are looking for proposals for presentations on topics
of interest to genealogists and historical researchers. Proposals for
workshops or panel discussions are also welcome. New presentations
(i.e., those that have not been offered at the last three IAJGS
Conferences) are encouraged, as are presentations and workshops that
provide practical research methodologies that will help conference
participants in their research.

JewishGen's Hungarian SIG has some funds available to assist
researchers >from abroad who can speak or participate in panel
discussions on topics of particular interest to those of us who are
researching families with roots in greater Hungary. Please contact me
directly if you are interested in H-SIG sponsorship.

We are also looking for ideas for the Hungarian SIG luncheon. If you
have any or are willing to coordinate this event, please let me know.
