After many years of fruitless attempts at trying to locate the remnants of my cousin's family MEISNER, I recently discovered that it is spelled MAISNER.
I need help in New York >from a willing volunteer. Margaret MAISNER died in March 1976 in Manhattan, according to the Social Security Death Index. Her daughter Frances is believed to have died earlier. I want to find: 1) A Death notice [in the New York Times ?] and 2) The cemetery where she was buried--and there the record of which survivors [son-in-law, grandsons?] arranged for her burial. Frances' married name is unknown to me.
I'm in far-away Haifa and would be glad to reciprocate with help in translating Hebrew documents for any NYC volunteer who assists me.
