JewishGen Discussion Group #JewishGen RE: Genealogy and Mixed Marriage #general

To put forth another perspective to the main theme - 'should
inter-marriages
should be included in a families tree' -
=====

I include anyone I can. I'm also "mixed" -- in fact, was a US citizen
before my father was, and all of his family are still in Spain. I
haven't made much progress on his end of research but only because I'm
not physically close to the sources as I am with my Brooklyn-born
mother's side of things (and Spain in annoyingly lax about putting
information *I* want online!).

For my part, it never occurred to me to leave out anyone on either side,
and have developed much respect and/or sympathy as and for a human
being, for pretty much anyone I've researched so far.
