I, too, am happy about the new SIG - my pgparents came >from Vishnevets and
Kremenets. (I have placed -with the help of Andrew Cassel - a page for
Vishnevets with information >from my gf's book, written in 1954.

I have another book (a copy) written by Mary Asia Hilf, born in Kremenets
(and my gm's niece) but feel I don't have a way to obtain permission to put
that up, too.

I am happy to be a part of the Ukraine SIG. I have been hoping that
there would be a separate group like this one. My Lukashevsky ancestors
were >from Kiyev. As a member of the Belarus SIG, I have learned a
tremendous amount >from other researchers and I am sure that this list
will be just as rewarding.
