Members of A Feld Family #general

Ilan Leibowitz

Shalom,

On Ancrestry it mentions Members of A Feld Family. Whom I am unaware of. No details A Birth of a 'MOLLIE FELD" in 1902 in the United States? Death of a Samuel Feld in the states in 1983? Just wondering who they might be?

Thank you,

Ilan Leibowitz

I had FELD relatives living in an apartment in Far Rockaway NY in the 1960s. I was given the connection to them by my family in South Africa. After I moved to the US (Manhattan)  I contacted them. An older couple (60s?) who had a married son with a child He had been killed in an accident. Also a daughter living in California. I visited them occasionally but never knew our actual relationship, and I do not remember their names. After I moved to Toronto, I let the connection go. I was not as interested in genealogy  then as I have since become. I hope this gives you a start and I would be pleased to know if you can establish who your FELDs are and if we have a connection. Regards, Isme Bennie

FELD is, alas, a common name. Still, no harm in seeing if anyone connects.

My grandfather was Yitzhak FELD b abt 1860. Family story says he came from Poznan in Poland but I have never been able to find any record to confirm that. He married Henya Mlynarz and they lived and died in Warsaw. They had 6 children.

Aaron 1890-1919, Chava 1892-1941, Nathan 1894-1948 (my father), Zelda (1896-1955), Rubin (1897-1942) and Rose (1908-1993).

If any of this rings bells with you, please contact me on helen@...
