Hi All
My father is seeking his friends he knew growing up in Bayside, Queens. My father is George Greenberg and his father was Theodore Greenberg who operated a jewellers store. His friends he would like to find are, Edward Julian Abramson, Jeffrey Edelstein, and Jeffrey Harris. My dad has very little information to give me other than their names. So, if you grew up in Bayside and were friends with a George Greenberg please contact me. Sarah Greenberg (USA) sacredsisters1977@... |

I grew up in Bayside, but I do not recognize the names
We need a little more info for you to get help
Maybe where went to HS, and what year graduated
If we do not recognize the names, maybe our siblings would
I was in the first graduating class of Cardozo HS and that was 1970, my cousins went to Francis Lewis HS
My sister went to Van Buren and my brother in law went to Bayside HS
Where in Bayside did he live? I lived near LIE and Clearview expressway,
My husband lived Bell Blvd and 73rd Av
Good luck with your search

Hi All
Again I apologize for my dad has very little information. What I can assume is that they are my dad's age, which means born about 1943-45. They would be in their middle 70's. I apologize for not mentioning that in my original post. I have tried Facebook, but most people from my dad's generation are computer phobic so I don't think I will have luck with that. I had better luck tracking his army buddies a few years back. |

Hi Sarah,
There is a Facebook group, Queens Back In The Day, which, if you join the group on FB, has had many people posting names of people they are looking for from their youths in Queens, with successful outcomes. Best of luck https://www.facebook.com/groups/QueensBackInTheDay/ |
