Searching for the names of parents of Nathan HAASE (1838-1912 Berlin)
My great great uncle Nathan HAASE was born 5 May 1838 and died January 3, 1912 in Berlin. He lived in Konigsberg and Wormditt, East Prussia. I would like suggestions on how to find the names of his parents. One of his sons was the famous social democrat Hugo Haase who was shot on the steps of the Reichstag in 1919 and died a few days later. Any suggestions are appreciated. The original death record is on Ancestry World. You should be able to access from many public libraries. I cannot read the German. Ancestry does have a key to the lines in the original but that doesn't help w/ the handwriting. Here's the summary:
I also found a record for a Max Haase, son of Nathan and Pauline Haase. Tramscription below. Orignial is available. This is in the in the Eastern Prussian Provinces, Germany [Poland], Selected Civil Vitals, 1874-1945 the Berlin, Germany, Deaths, 1874-1955)
