Rolando Gail <Ing.R.Gail@...>

I'm writing in behalf of AGJA (, the Argentine Jewish Genealogical Association.
At our files, we can find, at Tablada cemetery, the burial of Jose Busgang Willig, from Oct 2nd, 1957, and at the same plot, Dora Guberg de Willig, born Aug 11, 1912 who passed Sep 9th, 2001. At the same cemetery, other burial corresponds to Meier Willig, who passed Jul 20th, 1974, sharing the plot with Luba Lancman de Willig, who passed March 29th, 1979. Again at Tablada we can find a women named Lana Willig de Einstoss, who passed April 25th, 1986. And finally, at Berazategui cemetery, there is a burial for Aaron Willig, born april 9th, 1926, and dead by sep 25th, 2001. I found a site called, that lists more persons in Argentina with the surname Willig.

I believe I found a second cousin in Buenos Aires on the site. He has the name of my great grandfather, as well.

If you look at (white phone pages fo Argentina) you will find only 10 entries for the surname WILLIG (which seems to be your relatives surname)

Some of the names are duplicated (vacation homes probably).

I suggest you write by snail mail to these people, explianing the relation

Writing is Spanish is highly recommended.

Some picture to show you are not a scam is suggested.

And suggest a follow up via mail.

People here are quite disenterested in ancestry... or is it everywhere ?

I hired a researcher in Argentina, not that expensive who helped me track down the families of my Uncles who had emigrated to Argentina from Hungary in the early 1930s. I had not even known they existed till 3 years ago,

Hello All;
 I am trying to find out the given name and other details for my aunt's brother.  My aunt, Edith Marcu, was born in Czernowitz in 1913.  Her maiden name was Willig.  I know that her father's name was Jacob and her mother's name was Ana Gisella.  I also know that she had an older sister named Leopoldine, called "Maidi"( born in 1907) and that she had a brother, probably older.  I know that the family left Czernowitz and immigrated to Argentina some time in the early 1940s and that the brother started a business in Buenos Aires.  I am trying to find out more information about Edith's brother- i.e his given name, birth and death dates.
Please send your responses to my email, listed below.
Thanks in advance for your help.
