Great Synagogue London marriage record Solomon Levy to Anne Levy 1860 #unitedkingdom #records

I'm looking for the Great Synagogue, London, marriage record for my GG grandparents.
Solomon Levy married Ann Levy on 27th June 1860 in the Great Synagogue.
Yes, her maiden name was Levy and her husband's surname was Levy - at that time.
His had been Zajac and later became Abrahams.

I'm trying to find out who their parents were, in particular Ann's mother, as the likely candidates
don't fit with the information that I know.
Full details would be helpful - including witnesses.

Many thanks!

In Lewin's records it shows that they were married on 7 June 1860. The groom's father was shown as Ziens Levy (deceased) and his Hebrew name as Avraham Shlomo ben Yehudah which is a little strange. There is also a question mark re the name of the groom. Ann Levy's father was Lyon Levy and her Hebrew name, Yenta bat Yehuda Leib.  They both were shown as living at 16 Swan Street, Whitechapel. Solomon was 24 and Ann  22 . No names of mothers are ever given.

Many thanks for this.

It's definitely them. The date of 27th June is what is on their children's birth records - well those who were born in Scotland.
Maybe that was the date of the civil marriage, I don't know.
The groom was called Solomon but I know that his Hebrew name was Avrohom Shlomo ben Yehudah.
His surname was originally Zajac - pronounced Zion - so Ziens makes sense. Levy was the surname the groom took at some point.
Probably when he came to the UK. Maybe that's where it came from.
The bride's Hebrew name is a bonus! I've been trying to find that for years without any success.
Her headstone has the top part missing and I couldn't find it anywhere else.
Shame that the names of the mothers are not given.

Many thanks again.
