Dear Mark,

I would like to invite you to a Zoom in on the Forum session devoted to the impact our educational program, School of Dialogue, can have in former shtetles in Poland in the long term. Julia Machnowska, Forum's Project Coordinator, and Zuzanna Radzik, Vice-President of Forum for Dialogue, will discuss the ways of sustaining youth's engagement in researching and commemorating Jewish history of their hometowns
Join us for a conversation about our philosophy and methodology in inspiring students' commitment to Polish/Jewish history on Wednesday, March 17th, at 5 am Australian Eastern, 10 am Pacific, 12 pm Central, 1 pm Eastern, 6 pm Warsaw, 7 pm Tel-Aviv time (please, mind change of time in Poland and Israel!).

School of Dialogue is Forum's educational program inspiring teenagers in towns and villages across Poland to explore and commemorate local Jewish history. Each year, apart from schools entering the School of Dialogue program for the first time, dozens of school groups continue their involvement in preserving the memory of Jewish communities. They share their knowledge of Jewish culture and history with younger students, participate in official and grassroots commemorations of the Shoah, take care of local Jewish cemeteries and establish relations with descendants of Jews from their hometowns. Their ongoing sense of responsibility wouldn't be possible without dedicated teachers and educators guiding them through the process. Julia Machnowska who coordinates the cooperation between Forum for Dialogue and teachers, will share her expertise in forging long-lasting alliances and providing teachers with tools and knowledge indispensable for education and activism in local communities.

As we are soon to announce the best student projects in 2020 online edition of the School of Dialogue program, let me also invite you to another zoom session presenting the outcomes of our educational efforts. A special Zoom in on the Forum session will be dedicated to students' projects and initiatives undertaken by a new cohort of School of Dialogue alumni in 2020. Mark your calendars and join us on Wednesday, April 14th  to learn more about the School of Dialogue online in 2020: its challenges and unexpected successes.
Looking forward to seeing you next Wednesday!
