I saw it yesterday and was surprised I could get documents online. Thank you.

Very glad to hear.   Do we go to JRI-Poland to do the searches or http://www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl/

I tried both without success.

Researchers finding records of interest in the JRI-Poland database for which there are
links are now seeing the digital images on the new www.szukajwarchiwach.gov.pl
website of the the National Digital Archives (NDA) division of the Polish State Archives.
The transition to the new system happened behind the scenes and has been seamless,
but this didn’t happen miraculously. What you need to know is the story behind how this
transition was made possible.
It starts with the NDA’s need to use a totally different system to identify each image.
While file names for images on the old website were numbered chronologically, file
names for images on the new site are randomly generated number strings.
Thus, all the links for the more than two million records in our database with images
were basically useless. Notwithstanding that JRI-Poland is the only organization
currently direct linking search results to online NDA vital record images, we received
extraordinary cooperation from our partners in building tools to make the transition
seamless.  It took several months of planning, multiple exchanges of data files and
extensive correspondence to enable the changeover to happen with minimal hiccups.
(Several image links are not working but will be fixed; if you come across any, please
report to webmaster@...)
We are truly indebted to our colleague, JRI -Poland database manager Michael Tobias
and our suburb partners at the NDA for pulling it off so successfully. For all of us on the
JRI-Poland team, a hearty Yasher Koach to Michael and a huge thank you to the NDA.
Enjoy continued use of the direct linking to online scans!
