Looking for help to locate manifest for Ralph Sevinor (Raphail Zweilok) #usa #records

For clarification:

The Baltic had three additional landings at NYC in 1904: 28 Oct, 25 Nov, and 23 Dec.

Baltic (1) foundered in the North Atlantic after a collision on 07 Feb 1898. Baltic (2) did not enter service until 1904. The White Star Line operated both ships.

See: http://norwayheritage.com/p_ships.asp?Ship=baltic&Submit=Submit

The Morton Allan Directory of European Passenger Steamship Arrivals shows arrival dates for the Baltic in 1904 landing at NYC from Liverpool on 01 Sep and 30 Sep. No further landings are listed after these dates (for 1904), though there are earlier landings. It is possible the arrival date on the naturalization is incorrect (which I have seen in other cases).

Another way to search for his manifest record would be to check Ancestry.com's collection "UK and Ireland, Outward Passenger Lists, 1890-1960," with the information that the Baltic sailed from Liverpool. Locating the UK record may lead you to locating the NYC record.

Best of luck in your search,

I grew up in Swampscott, Ma, about 11 miles north of Boston. There were many Sevinors in the next town, Marblehead.  I just googled that and they are still there. I do remember a Ralph when I was growing up there. There was also a Sevinor Road in Marblehead.

Good luck

Ralph Sevinor was born in Gedraiciai, Lithuania on about October 15, 1886.  I have located his Naturalization Record which says he was born in Vilno, Russia and emigrated to the US from Liverpool England on the Baltic.  It says he arrived in NY on October 5, 1903. However, I am unable to find a manifest to confirm this information.  He changed his name legally to Ralph Sevinor on 6/2/1913. Initially, he signed his name Raphail Zweilok.  He was also called Rafuel Schweiloch by family members.

Thank you,
Ann Neumann
