WORLD JEWISH COMMUNITIES: BIALYSTOK, POLAND.
Here is a series of twenty-four photographs that appeared from
1924-1927 in the Forverts (Jewish Forward newspaper), all of people or
scenes from Bialystok. Some of the photos, however, were taken nearly
twenty years before they were published, i.e. at the time immediately
after the 1906 pogrom in Bialystok. Here is the link:
