Viewmate Translation needed - Russian birth record? #translation
I've posted a vital record in Russian for which I need a translation. It is on ViewMate at the following address ...
I found this document attached to the 1830 birth entry for Nyszla Mortchai Sztejnsapir, my 3rd great-uncle. He was the son of Leyzer Roterosen Sztejnsapir and Gittl (no maiden surname). I have found an 1847 JRI-Poland marriage record for Nyszko Sztejnsapir, son of Lejzor and Gittla, which makes the groom born c.1818. Leyzer may have had children with two different wives, both named Gittl (or some variation). I'd like to see what can be gleaned that will clarify any of these facts.
