I asked the archives of the city of Tel Aviv.  They have lists of the residents of Tel Aviv during the years before the establishment of the State of Israel. Unfortunately, they are not on-line. If they are anything like the Montreal directories (Lovell) during the first half of the 20th century, then I'm sure that, through them, you will be able to locate a living descendant.  Good luck!

I found information about the Schwiff family that you are looking for, the Schwiff brothers left to Canada, Brazil and Australia
and one sister was in Israel.
They were relatives of the Shapira family but the connection to Gershon and Judith Shapira is unclear.

I added all I could find to the Geni tree in this link:

Looking for descendants of Leon, Jacob, or Wolf Schwiff from Poland, who emigrated to Palestine around 1900. One of these people had either home or office on Lilienblum Street in Tel Aviv in 1920. They were nephews of my great-great grandparents from Montreal (Gershon & Judith Shapira), who made Aliyah in 1913.
