Dna in israel #dna

Are you sure that you have a MyHeritage DNA kit?  They are not allowed to sell to Israel (Legal reasons involving the chief rabbinate) for the purpose of finding relatives.  You may have an Ancestry.com kit or a FTDNA kit (they are out of Houston and do sell to Israel).  MyHeritage and FTDNA are cheek swabs, Ancestry and 23 and me are saliva tests.  The first thing that you do is to complete the test according to the instructions and mail it back in the envelope or box provided.  Then you wait until you get an email saying that the results are ready.  Once you have that email, then you log in and view your results.  Please let us know how things went.

Download a VPN software and open a new Myheritage acount then add your location as USA.
This will allow you to upload DNA results.
I haven't tried it myself but i heard it works.

If you are registered by MyHeritage as living in Israel, then this platform will not allow you to access their DNA features. This is because of Israeli legality issues of doing DNA tests such as these.

If you have tested and submitted to My Heritage, they will send you the results and you will see this on their website.  They will then send you dna matches regularly and if you see any matches which look interesting, you can make contact with these people to discuss.
