The May 19, 2022 edition of the Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza carried a legal notice announcing that the Regional Court in Bochnia, First Civil Division, has authorized the town of Nowy Wiśnicz to deposit funds in a court-controlled escrow account as compensation for property being taken by the municipality for public use as per a decision of the Starosta of Bochnia on January 14, 2002 [Decision GN.6821.18.2021].  The Court has determined that the whereabouts of the owners of record for the property in question are unknown.


The properties in question consist of:


0.0325 hectares (0.0803 acres) in the town of Łomna, designated “dz.ewid. 34/6” comprised of part of the former “dz. ewid. 34/1” (0.0662 hectares/0.164 acres) or construction plot 64 as well as part of cadastral plot 576, registered as “LWH 51 Łomna” whose owners of record are:

and construction plot 139, registered as “LWH 59 Łomna” whose owner of record is:




The town of Nowy Wiśnicz has deposited with the Court the sum of 7553 Polish zlotys [currently US $1747.82] to be paid to legitimate heirs who come forward at any time over the next ten years after which time the deposit will be forfeited.


Any potential claimants are asked to contact the Court, citing Docket No. I Ns 94/22.
