Thank you to those who suggested that I contact World Jewish Relief for help in determining facts related to my dear friend's removal from Austria as the Germans occupied it to Cardiff, Wales, when he was a child.  Not only did I get the information in a relatively short time, but they apologized for taking too long!  They also supplied information on the entire family, which included parents and two other sons.  I have birth dates, immigration dates, the fact that they were considered stateless, naturalization dates, towns of birth and other data.  

I suggest this resource to others who need to search for British records related to the Holocaust or other disasters, as the organization still actively helps people.  This is a volunteer organization, so I suggest a donation, though one is not required. https://www.worldjewishrelief.org/
