Be sure to include in your correspondence all of the following:

  • RG (Record Group): 59
  • Time Segment: 1910-29
  • Box number (if given, not necessary otherwise)
  • File and Document number
  • Complete name of individual as it appears in the database (Surname and first name)

Many years before the pandemic I sent a letter and recieved paper copies of the correspondence - they were very informative - opened up a whole new branch of research.
