Genealogy Brick Wall due to Name Change #ukraine

Can anyone provide me with guidance on where to go from here? The Badenia did not leave Hamburg on March 29 but the Batavia did. I cannot find my Great Grandfather on the passenger list of the Badenia nor the Batavia. I also did not find him in the Ellis Island records. I suspect a name change is the issue.

Which names did you try looking for?

The document reflects that he arrived under the name of "Harry Schneider", but this could/may/might be a situation of someone who typed it based upon how it sounded to them (as this was common then).

It could be as it was typed or a spelling variant(s). It could be simple or may take time.

Regarding the dates, I've seen slight differences before that's probably entered as a best/approximate guess.
