I need some help with a word that doesn't make sense to me on the gravestone for David Goldblatt (Treskunov) my 2X Great Grandfather.
I'm getting stuck on the Hebrew word after Here lies our Beloved Father ______
David son of Mordechai
Died 14th of Sivan 5677
May His Soul Be Bound Up in the Bond of Eternal Life
Thanks for the help,
Jonathan D. Sher

Surnames-Treskunov/Goldblatt, Swerdlov, Schereshefsky, Predmestsky, Sperling, Berlin

It's not a word, it's an abbreviation of the words מורנו הרב =  מו"ה what you see on the tombstone is   'מוה
The abbreviation - in other contexts - indicates the person was an ordained rabbi.  However, it sometimes appears on tombstones as a sign or respect or is even at times added because people saw it on other tombstones, and do not necessarily know what it means.
Don't treat it as proof of his rabbinical ordination, but as a trigger for further research into his status.

For those unfamiliar with the Hebrew, מו"ה = מורנו הרב = "our teacher the Rabbi......" (literal translation)
