Poland Holocaust victims #poland #holocaust

I met up with a cousin Nira for the first time in Jerusalem. She shared this below picture with me of our three relatives that were killed in the Holocaust in 1942. She also has pictures of them. Wondering how do we preserve their memory in Yad Vashem or Holocaust programs? They were killed in Poland. They should never be forgotten.
Nira's grandfather Moshe and my great grandmother Shoshana were siblings.
May Moshe, Miriam and their daughter Lena Greenberg rest in peace.
No one knows Miriam's maiden name.
Greatly appreciate any leads to where I should begin. TIA

Surely the Yad Vashem Pages of Testimony program would be continued - or extended - or widened - to cover a Pogrom in Russia as well?

Why the reference to a pogrom?  The inscription on the stone clearly states that the Jews of Baranovich were “killed by Hitler - may his name be expunged.”

My family survived the Holocaust as well. Greek Catholic Ukrainians. My one uncle, from Poland, was in six concentration camps. When I received the Arolsen documents, I could not stop crying all weekend. How do we write about the experiences? How to control the emotions? Do the research? Maybe Jewish Gen could have a class on this.

Sincerely,

Sharon,
To clarify, the photo is not of your relatives grave, but a marker at the mass execution site in Baranovichi, Belarus.  It is dedicated to the memory of the 6000 Jews that were murdered at this site.  There is another stone at the local Jewish cemetery, that is dedicated to the 12000 murdered in town.
Check the database for your relatives names, in case someone has already filled out the testimony forms.  You can add photos or documents to the existing profiles or submit a new testimony, if their names are not found.

The Hebrew text on the photo posted by Mike says:
Interred here
Are the remains of the skeletons of
 12000
Jews of Branovich collected
from the killing fields
who were mudered by
the Germans and their helpers
and perished in the Holocaust
in the year 5703 1942

There were a number of mass massacres in Baranowicze. See:
