Pinchas,
I found he had one brother and a sister, and also a cousin named on his 1911 passenger manifest. Sol RUCH, born 1885 in Kovna. Arrived NYC with his younger sister Rose RUCH in 1906. They were going to their cousin W. SOLMANSEN at 210 East 98th Street in Manhattan. Sol RUCH petitioned for naturalization in NYC in 1911. He lived at 16 Second Avenue. He appears in one NYC city directory in 1912. Sol RUCH 16 Second Avenue, occupation candy. On his 1912 nat application he was in stationary. In 1912 Sol RUCH married Sarah KOMSKY in Manhattan. He used the name Paul RUCH (same address 16 Second Ave.) Sol / Paul's parents names given as Michael RUCH and Ida STEIN. Your Zalman's 1915 Massachusetts death record gives his parents as Mitchell RUCH and Ida STEIN. So, the Sol RUCH in New York is the same person. Zalman's death record gives his address as 49 Winter Street in Worcester, and the informant as an unnamed brother. There is a Max RUCH who appears in Worcester city directories during that time period also at 49 Winter Street. I would assume that Max RUCH may be Zalman's brother. Good luck in your search,
Sherri Bobish

The library in Pittsfield, MA has an extensive "local history" section. You could call or e-mail and see if they might have anything more. Their idea of "local history" encompasses a big hunk of New England. HTH,

I am also looking for information on the family of my grandfather's sister Raizel [Ruch] Metz. I heard that she had an only child who died without children. I also heard from another source that she died without children. I wanted to know if there is a source or record of the deceased child
And when did her husband die and what was his name
She is the sister of the aforementioned Yaakov Zalman Ruch
[In the comments, the Raizel who came to the United States with her brother was mentioned]
I am also attaching a link to the grave of his sister Raizel Metz
