"Here lies a woman of valour, the crown of her husband and the (?*) of her children and children's children, the (?*) woman Chaya, the daughter of Mordechai, died of old age on the second day of Rosh Chodesh Kislev 5685" (First day of Kislev - November 28, 1924).

*Can't read this as the inscription is covered by leaves.
