The Dutch foundation Stenen Archief doesn't list the jewish cemetaries in Putte (yet?). But they may have contacts there.
Choose Contact in the menu and leave your question on the form.

Not an answer to your question, but some information that might be useful:
The city of Brussels does not provide permanent burial plots. They all are/were restricted in time. (I don’t know the time limitations.)
Apparently, the very religious Jews who died in Brussels often chose to be buried in the Putte Jewish cemetery of Antwerp in the Netherlands where they could have a permanent grave. My great aunt is buried there even though she only lived in Anderlecht, a district of Brussels, after she emigrated from Poland to Belgium in the early 1900’s.

Rick ,

This FindAGrave page lists 218 names at Machsike Hadas Jewish Cemetery of Antwerp, but a search does not find anyone who passed on in 1988.  Only 17% of the cemetery is  photographed.
(Putte, Woensdrecht Municipality, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands)

This FindAGrave page gives the name of John KIRK, who has done photographs at this cemetery.  There is a "send a message" button on the page.

Good luck in your search,

Searching:  RATOWSKY / CHAIMSON (Ariogala, Lith.)
WALTZMAN (Ustrzyki Dolne, Pol.)
LEVY (Tyrawa Woloska, Pol.)
LEFFENFELD (Daliowa & Jasliska, Pol.)
BOJDA / BLEIWIESS (Tarnow & Tarnobrzeg, Pol.)
SOKOLSKY / SOLON / SOLAN (Grodek, Bialystok, Pol.)
BOBISH (your guess is as good as mine!  LOL)

I am trying to get a picture of a headstone of the sister of my great-aunt. She was buried at Machsike Hadas Jewish Cemetery of Antwerp (which is actually located in Putte, Netherlands) in 1988. I don't know the location of the grave within the cemetery nor am I certain what name they would have put on the gravestone. I wasn't able to locate anything on the various sites containing pictures of headstones. I thought I might be able to locate the grave and get someone to take a picture of it if I could contact whoever is running the cemetery, but I haven't been successful in making that contact. If anyone has a suggestion as to how I can contact them, I would appreciate the input.
