requesting headstone photo #usa
Martha
Hello! I went to the cemetery today, but unfortunately I was not able to locate a headstone. I think that may be why there is not a picture on findagrave.com, but someone else is welcome to try.
Just to let you know what I did - I met with the woman that lives on the property and she located both the index card and the book register that have his name and headstone location. I located the right area, confirming the headstones that were supposed to be to the left and to the right, as well as behind and in front. But with that said, the plots are not organized in rows. There are clusters of headstones and I walked in every direction from where the headstone is supposed to be in case it was not exactly where the map indicated, and still was not able to find it. I should add, there is a tree located in the spot where the headstone is supposed to be. I took a picture of the register book, the map, and the cluster of tombstones around the area so that you can compare to the map, if you wish. I will email you to see if you'd like to have those. Hello. I have not forgotten about this. I am having car issues and currently my car is in the shop. I will take my husband's car tomorrow and get this done. If I missed a response from someone who has already done this for you, please let me know.

Hi there! I'll try. I'll call tomorrow when they're open and figure out how to best get that done. Would you happen to have any information not on the link? A location? If not, I'm sure they'll have a map.

Would anyone be able to take a photo of my great great grandfather's headstone at Hebrew Friendship Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland? Here is the "Findagrave" link to his information. https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/197590134/benjamin-miller
I'd be happy to pay for this. Thanks, -- Yaacov Kleinman |
