I’m trying to find the ancestors and descendants of Yehuda Lev Taraday, born before 1824. His son was Menachem Mendel Taraday, 1842 to 1936, who was born in Umin Ukraine and died in Kitchener Ontario Canada. I have the descendants of Menachem Mendel Taraday.
I need the ancestry before Yehuda Lev Taraday who is married to Rifka.
I also need information about Menachem Mendel Taraday‘s brother, who landed in New York, his sister who landed in England, and their descendants.
it would be nice to know about Menachem Mendel‘s wife’s line, Chaika/Leah me-Portigo, Who had two sisters and two brothers. One of the sisters, Bertha, landed in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada.
Menachem Mendel Taraday had a second wife and two children with her. Both children shortened her last name to Day, from Taraday. George De had three children. One was Steve Day who landed in Australia. One of Steve’s 2 sisters landed in England. And another sister of Steve’s, landed in Detroit Michigan USA.
George Day’s sister was Lil Day whose daughter was Marilyn. Marilyn married Al Dickson.
any information or sources will be much appreciated. I have reached a dead end on this part of my ancestry.
