Anyone going to Baron Hirsch on Staten Island? #usa
A. E. Jordan
A bit out of my range for me since it is a long drive over a toll bridge, etc.
I have details on two graves in different parts of the cemetery. There might be other family in the plots but I do not know.
If anyone is going please contact me off the list.
I know the cemetery will take photos for me as well.... but of course I do not know if the graves are overgrown, if there are relatives nearby, etc. The office also tells me there are plot maps ... I don't know if you are in the office if they would let you take photos of the map on your phone .... some let me.... some don't.
Thanks

When I went to Baron Hirsh cem years ago , the office gave me a plot map of the section I was interested in . They were very helpful.

And this told me who was there and luckily I was able to transcribe the Hebrew Script. Diane Jacobs On Nov 28, 2022, at 9:09 PM, A. E. Jordan via groups.jewishgen.org <aejordan=aol.com@...> wrote:

I got one photo from the office. Freddie was extremely helpful and had several shots taken, and then followed up by email several times. Not professional quality, but $16 is probably less than your tolls and gas.
