That Ancestry database came from JRI-Poland at a certain point in time. The indexes for eastern Galician towns (towns now in Ukraine) should only serve as a finding aid. Bukaczowce is unusual as its Jewish vital records were registered in Bukaczowce up to 1876. From 1877 until about 1908, Bukaczowce Jewish vital records were registered in Bursztyn and will be found in the Bursztyn results table, not the Bukaczowce results table. After 1908, again they were registered in Bukaczowce.
