All I know about my maternal great-grandfather was that his name was Abram Dashev (some documents say Adashev), born in Odessa in about 1852.
Later he married my great-grandmother Hava Loeva, born ca. 1857, (according to the family lore, a cousin/sister? of Olga, wife of Sholem Aleichem).
Even before the war it was very difficult to get any information from the Ukrainian archives, now I do not even try.
If anybody heard anything about them (particularly about Hava) I would be extremely grateful,
