Looking through some records in JRI Poland and I may have found my great great great grandparents marriage, but the brides name is recorded as Hana Kohn. I have Eva Cohen. The groom's name is a match - almost. Abraham Morris in my tree vs Abraham Moyzesz in the record. The year is about right. But I don't want to make an assumption if I am way off base. Thanks.
Are you sure it’s Hana and not Hawa (in Polish pronounced “Hava”)? That’s more likely to be Eva. That said, secular names could be very fluid, as could Jewish names, especially in secular records. -- David Dubin Teaneck, NJ
