Family name: Nasikowski or Nasikowsky #names

Steven Lotkin

I just uncovered the following name I have been chasing. Up to now I have been focused on the Russakoff name. I have now uncovered the name(s) of Nasikowski / Nasikowsky / Nasikofska from Moldova. This is the proper name. The name on a corresponding passenger manifest is Nosekowsky. I woud be interested on the passenger listing boarding the passenger vessel to see the spelling of the name from London, Engl.

I found on the Blitzstein/Rosenbaum Passenger bak records. I am unable to open up the 2 websites in order to gain additonal information about relatives other than ancestry.com passenger listing on the SS Frwisland Arr Phila Jan 1905.  Hopefully some one reading this will send a few steps in gaining access and opening up the records.

I want to extend appreciation for those who responded for the request for Russakoff family name. Now that I have another name to follow, I hope that there are records that connect Louis Nasikowski / Nasikowsky / Nasikofska with parents Sanuel & Sarah.

Yefim - I want to thank you personally for our previous exchanges of meails. I hope this findings will connect the dots between the
Original name & Spelling in Bessarabia Moldova to the names associated in the US.

Looking forward to seeing responses,
Steven Lotkin

Temple University has Philadelphia Immigrant Bank  digitized records.  Blitztein bank records are here:
https://digital.library.temple.edu/digital/custom/blitzsteinbank
The volumes as shown are in order of date the tickets were purchased.  A ticket for Jan 1905 arrival would have been purchased early in Vol 5  (Nov '04 - Jan '05)   or, more likely  Vol 4 (Dec-03 - Nov-04)    The name index on Jewishgen gives you the volume and page number for each entry.

Following up- I found the record on page 98 of Vol 4.  Leibe Nosikowski, wife Chaja and four children aboard the Friesland.
The purchaser of the tickets in Phila. was Meni Nosikowski.
