Hi, 

I was wondering if there exists pictures of graves from the Beirut Jewish cemetery. There is an inventory of more than 3,000 graves from the cemetery on Sephardicgen.com but it does not contain pictures. I found an entry for my wife's 3rd great-grandfather, Daniel Escapa (d. 1908), and I would love to be able to see a picture of the grave, which apparently is still in good condition. 

If such photos do not exist today, would it be possible to connect with someone who could take a photo of the grave? I understand that may be difficult but I wonder if that is a possibility.

Jeremy - I have friends who come from Beirut.  They now live in Dubai, but still have family back in Beirut. I can see if they would be willing to visit the cemetery and take a photo of the gravesite.  What is the name of the cemetery, and do you have specific info as to the plot?
