Hebrew Subscription Lists #general

Michelle Sandler

I would like to purchase a copy of the book Hebrew Subscription Lists
by Beryl Kagan 1975. Is the book mainly in Hebrew or is there enough
English in the book for me to follow it? I know the Hebrew prayer
book for a Reform Synagogue. I have been a Jewish Genealogist for 39
years. I have never used this book before. Amazon.com is selling a
used copy of this book.

You can download a PDF of his book from Hebrew books.org.  I have used this wonderful resource for several years. I cannot give you the exact ID number since I currently don’t have access to my computer.

There is a great intro in English and names of towns in English with reference numbers to the Hebrew pages in the book.  Hope that helps!

One can also find a terrific InfoFile on JewishGen explaining how to use the book.
