Hebrew Translation to English needed from marriage document #translation #records

Rhoda Mastronardi

I took the suggestion to photograph the handwritten parts of the marriage document I have from my grandparents, Isidore Pawley and Lillian Dates. I am hoping someone can translate them for me. Thank you!

The handwriting is tough. Best guess:
Sunday the first of Sivan 5689 ( =1929)
new york
groom: Yitzchak (=Isaac, often Anglicized to Isidore), then a second name I cannot read for the life of me, son of Herz
bride: Leah daughter of Moshe (=Moses)
witnesses: Yehuda son of Josef & David son of Moshe

i’d like to see how others read the groom’s middle name.

I think the groom's second name is Yoel (Joel).

I agree with Yoel, I think the groom's father's name is Baruch.
