I think the file link you posted is for DAKO 1-351-645 (from the
first pages). On the Wikipedia page for DAKO fond 1, opus 351
(https://uk.wikisource.org/wiki/Архів:ДАКО/1/351), when you scroll
down to the line for case #645 you see just to the right of the
title that there is a name/place index for this case. Clicking on that link (in Cyrillic it says "Покажчик прізвищ") brings you to a page where you can find that index: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:ТАРАЩАНСКИЙ_УЕЗД_1882_села.pdf. Next step is to go to the English>Russian transliteration page
on Steve Morse's website If you find the name you want in the index, the next step will be to look at the actual census file, scanning visually for the name. To see what it would look like handwritten, use the "Russian" spellings from above in the Cyrillic print>cursive tool on the same site, choosing cursive and so on https://stevemorse.org/russian/cyrprintcurs.html Hope this helps!
