A Revision list gets translated by Google as a "Fairy Tale"
Alex K has posted 1850 and 1858 revision lists for these towns - I have posted the links and you are in luck in that he has also posted the town detail within each list.  The numbers next to the town names represent the pdf page numbers where each town's data begins - so while these are in Cyrillic and as yet not translated - this will make it much easier to search for your family names.  

You can use the Steve Morse websites to show your family names in Cyrillic cursive and then compare.

I too am trying to research my Ukrainian family, Rabinovich or Rabinowich who originated in Ruzhyn, Ukraine.  Are there records available and any suggestions as to the best place to search? Shulim Rabinovitz, son of Yisrael, married to Matle.  Matle's name shows as Indick, but I doubt that is her original surname. All the children show Rishin, now Ruzhyn as their birthplace.

What does "fairy tale" mean in this context? And is there a translation of the Dubno section of the "fairy tale of the Jews of Dubna County"?
My mother's family was from Dubno and I have failed in many years of research to find any mention of them in Dubno records.

Fairy tale is the unfortunate and laughable translation by Google for a Revision List.  So a fairy tale in our context is actually quite valuable

There are no translations for Dubno revision lists at this time ....but if you are adventurous and persistent you can use the Steve Morse website I laid out in my posting yesterday to create your family surname in Cyrillic cursive.  Refer to the revision lists in that posting - Dubno starts on p1 in the 1850 RL and in the 1865 supplemental starting on pages 72, 190, and Gary Pokrassa

This is in the Skyvra district in the Kyiv province before WW I
there are few metric records or Revision lists translated and online for Ruzhyn.   However there are several revision lists posted by Alex Krakovsky

Are there birth and marriage records for Odessa going back to 1830's to 1881? I can't seem to find many.  My grandfather, his parents and siblings left Odessa from 1881-1885 for New York.  I'd love to find family records from Odessa. Oldest known ancestor is Anshel Bronstein, father of Isaac Bronstein. Isaac was b.1837, Isaac and Tzvia Mirel's ("Mary" in USA) children born in Odessa from 1860-1878 include Victoria, Fanny, Emma, Jacob, Mollie, Abi, Abraham, and William. Lillian born in the USA.  I'm open to hiring a researcher in Ukraine.

Alan - there are index files available on Alex K wikis for Odessa but only from 1903-1919.....I don't see anything else on his site...the JG database does have the 1895 revision list online again not the period you need

there are only a handful of birth record books from that year range that survived. The following are records with name Isaac Bronstein as the father.  These might be all of the same person.  Last name Bronstein was definitely transliterated from Bronshteyn,

Are there any revision lists for Bershad or Ladyzhyn, Vinnitsa (spouse’s family) or for Genichesk, Kerson (my family)? My husband’s grandfather Aaron SHKOLNIK left Ukraine for Canada in 1909; my grandfather Rachel TSCHERNIA left for Denmark in 1904. I have lots of information once they arrived in their destination countries but virtually none from pre-emigration. Thank you #ukraine #russia #records

Does anyone know of any records for Novo Ushitser, Ukraine or surrounding towns? My maternal father's family is from there. Names are Swerlick: Solomon (1905-1990), Herman (1910 to 1995), Irene (1907 TO 1911), and Evelyn (1919 to ?). all born between 1905 and 1920. I have no maternal maiden names but Solomon, et. al.'s parents were Simon (1881-1963) and Gertrude (1883 - 1938). Simon's parents were David (?-?) and Ruchel (1815-?). And that's as far back as I can go.

thank you Gary for all the help. My paternal grandfather came from Ukraine. His oldest sister was born in Belaya Tserkov and married in Odessa, One of his younger sisters was born in Nikolayev, Kherson. I would like to find birth records for all his siblings and or census in Belaya Tserkov (1880-1886), Bohuslav (1856-1862) and Odessa (1884-1900's). Are these digitized or accessible in any form?

If you are referring to Novaya Ushitsa, Podolia Gubernia, Ukraine, then my paternal ancestors are also from that town.  Surnames I am interested in are Bikman, Rosenblatt, Marshtein & Zaltzman.  My grandparents left Novaya Ushitsa in 1910 and 1913 respectively.

Has anyone had luck with Kiblitch/Kublich Vinnitsa oblast, Ukraine?     I have talked to people there and was told there weren't any records from Kublich.  I also was told there were some revision, deed, voter and military records but have not been translated.   I had plans to go last May until Covid struck.  I hope to make it next year but am waiting to see if records transpire.  I have been able to locate "cousins" and a picture of the land before the cemetery was dismantled.  Any search suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

I know about the fire at the Kamenetz-Podolsk archives but do not know if any records survived and the condition of those records. Do you know of any records available for Gorodok in Podolia Gubernia and if so how to access them?
