The IN MY POCKET Project was launched at the WA Museum Boola Bardip last weekend when we ran our first session for children aged 9 to 11. Our first creative art and craft workshop led by Tamar Pachter, was most successful - see photos below and the above link to the article in J-Wire. Our initiative has been met with strong interest and support from the Ambassadors of Germany, Israel and Lithuania. The German Embassy in Canberra endorsed our project and approved funding towards it. Mind sets in education are changing, and the WE ARE HERE! Foundation is introducing new programs, which are starting to get traction. These include new and FREE online Holocaust resources for high school educators and students as well.
