If your family originated from Kutno Gubernia Warszawa, Province Lodz, Poland or surrounding area please join us on our facebook group, Descendants of Jewish Kutno, where you can meet other descendants, swap family histories, learn about the history of Kutno and surrounding area. We have collected many resources including the 1796 Prussian census, 1845 & 1867 Polish Books of Residents, the later Russian Books of Residents and a members DNA database to name a few. Our resources cover from the earliest 1700’s until WW2. We have a Kutno Tree of nearly 12,000 people with all the first ‘foundling’ families fully documented. Our group is aiding people find their roots, connect lost families and share scans of original documents for free.
