We have deposited checks drawn on British banks (in pounds) and Canadian
banks (in US dollars)

Great to know that we can do that but there must be fees for you in doing that.
I think it would be useful to know how those compare to the charges for us
at the UK end.
Can you give us an indication of the fees for you!
