I read an account of someone's grandmother's immigration journey. He mentioned that his grandmother stayed overnight In Ostrolenka, "on the border between Austria and Poland," on the eve (literally) of World War I.
I located an Ostrolenka on the map, but it's in northeastern Poland, nowhere near the border of the Austro-Hungarian border.
Can someone clarify?
