The March 22, 2023 edition of the Polish newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza carried a legal notice from the Regional Court for Central Łódź [Sąd Rejonowy dla Łodzi-Śródmieścia], Eighteenth Civil Division, indicating that the Polish State Treasury as represented by the mayor of Łódź is seeking to have the following individual declared deceased in connection with property located in the city of Łódż:
Jakub Józef PIOTRKOWSKI, son of Lewek & Szajndla (née FELDON), born in the village of Bałuty (now a neighborhood of Łódź) on August 7/19, 1896.
The Court asks that anyone with information about the fate of the above-named contact the Court directly within three months of the publication of the notice. In communicating with the Court, reference should be made to Docket No. XVIII Ns 468/22.
