Yale J. Reisner
Hi from Paris,
Thank you Yale for your watch on this matter and this advice.
I am not concerned by any property in Poland (Galicia & Lodz) , my family was too poor.
But I have a general question.
I understand that a Polish city can take official property of a former Jewish estate which has been without any owner since Shoah...
But what about value of this property ?
In western Europe, I guess an evaluation of the property would be done and this money would be given to Claims or a national Jewish fund.
Could you tell us what is the situation in Poland ?
