maximize my successes.
SEIGAL (SEGALIS) - Posvil, Lithuania Kovno Gubernia. Also MELMAN >from the
same place. Seigal family also spent time in Penza, Siberia in a displaced
persons camp >from 1914-1921. Relatives also went to Perthamboy,NJ and
Newark,NJ. Possible name of ETTA MELMAN sister of SARA MELMAN
RICH (REICH) , WEINGARTEN - Kovel, Valeena Gubernia . Also family lore
has it that my gggf ,Abraham Rich, spent 25 years in the Czar's army. Is
there anyway to document this? Supposedly certain privaledges were granted
to Jews who survived this forced service. Also he married Hinda from
LEVY (possibly Lowenbach) - Brestlitovsk , Russia --
SPANDORFER - Drohobich, Galicia
LICHENSTEIN ( possibly SLATLOVICH) >from Yagisdorf or Yagistoff
My greatgrandfather name was Jose Weingarten and he was from Kovel. He had 7 sisters or brothers but we dont know their names. His fathers name was Natah Weingarten and his mother name was Rajel Bulning. He also had a wife and daugther, but we dont know their names.
