Seeking any and all information on Max Koenig and Hannah (Morgenstern)Koenig #usa

Hi All
I am trying to track down information on my Koenig ancestry from Austria. Not sure where in Austria they were from. My ancestor Max Koenig immigrated in 1902. Not sure if he arrived with his whole family or if they came separately. I do know that in 1910 census he is living in New York with his second wife Hannah/Anna Morgenstern and several children. Sometime after 1910 he moved to Bridgeport Connecticut and stayed there at least until 1921-22, then he went back to New York. That's where I lose them. I can't find them on any 1930 census. I believe I may have found them on a 1940 census in the Bronx with his two younger children William and Fannie/Florence. Then again I lose them. I am seeking death dates and possible obits. His children are buried in different parts, Nathan and Samuel are both buried in Connecticut.

Hi All Max was born about 1863-65, and his second wife Hannah/Anna Morgenstern was ten years younger than him and was born about 1875. I have a few death dates from the online death index, but have no way of knowing if it's him. I will list them below. Any and all help is appreciated.
Max Koenig Age 74 died in Bronx 12/22/1941 #11665
Max Koenig Age 79 died in queens 1/24/1942 #794
Max Konick age 84 died in kings 4/23/1945 #8594
Anna Koenig Age 73 died in Bronx 2/20/1948 #1992

Sarah,

You can see a transcription of some death cert info at:
https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/2240477

Seeing spouse and parent's names will help determining if one of these is who you seek.

The only one on your list with a spouse named Anna is Max Konick age 84 died in kings 4/23/1945 #8594.

I did not find the death cert for Anna in 1948 to be listed in this database.

Hi Sarah. Ann Dee Lee here. I think we've talked before but I thought I'd reconnect. My great grandfather was Max Koenig. I have one record on Ancestry that says he was from Krasne, Austria. My grandfather Sam for some unknown reason, changed his last name to Miller and moved to South Dakota. He died in South Dakota and was buried there. All of the rest of the Koenig's stayed in Bridgeport to my knowledge. My family took a trip to Bridgeport when I was little and met a zillion new relatives. I remember one cousin/uncle who was a boxer, one of Nathan's kids. So, long story short, I am confused about who is who. I wish I could help but there's no one to ask. My grandmother (Elizabeth) and mother (Ethel) are both gone. I don't know if the record on Ancestry is the right Max, but it appears he died in 1942, about six months before Nathan died. Feel free to contact me.

Hi All
After talking with a distant relative, I am still no closer to finding what happened to Max and Hannah Morgenstern Koenig. As a matter of fact the mystery deepens. I find out that one of the children Samuel changed his name to miller and moved to South Dakota. Also that he married his sister in law's half sister Elizabeth Libby Bassik. It's all very strange. My main focus is to still find the parents date of death and obits. The ones I listed previously are not them, so I am stuck.
