The Soviet Red Passovers- #russia

An article came through my news feed yesterday, I thought it might be of interest to the group.

The Soviet ‘Red Passovers’ Where Jews Gave Thanks for Communism
It is not an easy article to read, I was very troubled by it. But it brought the lives of Soviet Jews into clearer focus.
I am very grateful to Sam Lin-Sommer for posting it on Atlas Obscura and Professor Anna Shternshis, who documented this in her 2006 book, mentioned in the article.

This is not surprising to me.   My mother told me a long time ago when they lived in Kiev they were prevented from going to synagogue by the Bolsheviks.  What she didn't realize was that these Bolsheviks were the Yevsektsia, the Jewish section of the party.  I always said that if I was in a room with Stalin and Jewish communists that I would kill them first before Stalin.  This is where idealism became lethal and helped enslave our people.
