Translating letters written in Old German #translation

Does anyone know how to read Old German? My grandmother wrote several letters to my father and I can’t read them because the script is in Old German.

I suggest posting these images to jewishgen's ViewMate feature, under the category 'translation-German'. Here is a link: https://www.jewishgen.org/ViewMate/topost.asp.
I would recommend posting only one or two pages per week; you are more likely to receive a response. Your comment implies that you would be able to read these if they were written in modern script. I am no expert but looking at the first letter it looks as if it is in modern German script and not the old German script.
My experience of old German script is based on Austro-Hungarian birth records. My guess is that any German speaker will be able to decipher these letters. Tom Beer Melbourne, Australia |

It is definitly modern German script like it is still used today. The first half of the first letter was written by a Karl to a Rudi. The second part of the first letter was written bei a Schwägerin H... = Sister-in-law H... to the same Rudi. Regards Corinne Iten Switzerland |
