Translation request #yiddish #translation

Hi everyone -
I have 3-4 documents to translate from Yiddish.  I will post each one separately.
I am completely fluent in Hebrew, but know almost no Yiddish.

The first one (attached) I can see was written by my great grandfather, Moshe Epstein from Montreal (from the signature at the end). on the 25th day of Shevat 5679 (Jan. 26, 1919).  From the little I understand, it was written to his children, one of whom is my grandmother.  If it is of any help, my grandmother gave birth to my mother 12 days earlier (Jan. 14, 1919).

I would greatly appreciate if someone fluent in Yiddish could translate it for me.
