Treasurer Sought by IAJGS!

The International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies is looking for a Treasurer to join its 11-member governing Board.

The IAJGS is an umbrella organization dedicated to supporting its 90-member Jewish Genealogical Societies and related organizations, and the growing field of Jewish Genealogy, including sponsorship of the annual IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy.

The Treasurer's position requires experience with debit-and-credit accounting, and knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, QuickBooks and MS Excel. Duties include monthly board meetings, processing of monthly transactions, management of annual operating budget, financial oversight of the annual IAJGS International Conference, and serving as a financial resource for member societies.
